Bavaria: delicious and beautiful

Bavaria: delicious and beautiful

Why you should go to Germany with Skyship Adventure

Gastronomic tour of the most beautiful region of Germany

Bavaria is a region extremely pleased with itself and its heritage: museums and castles, painting and sculpture, architecture and music, gastronomy and lifestyle.

Here they have always been able to live in a big way, but without spendthrift, beautifully, but thoroughly. Nature sets the tone for everything here — majestic Alps, mirrored lakes, dense forests. Against the background of this nature, man-built fancy castles do not hesitate to look fabulous. The famous Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau are really castles from a fairy tale: the first, as you know, inspired Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky to create Swan Lake, and the second became the prototype of the Walt Disney company logo.

But not with single castles: the second most popular Bavarian entertainment is admiring the lakes. On the Himsee Lake with three islands, you can ride a boat or go around it by bike. The small Koenigsee has gained the fame of the cleanest lake in Europe, and maybe in the world — it’s worth believing and checking by plunging into its cool water.

The Bavarians know how to turn their lives into a cartoon — but shot with a very serious face. On weekends, they dress up in national costumes without any irony and walk around the city like that.Such heroes need appropriate decorations, and the Bavarians find them — both in the postcard center of Munich, and in gingerbread towns like Oberammergau.

Gastronomic Bavaria is not limited to wheat beer, pork knee and sausages. In the Michelin guide, many pages are devoted to the region. There are more than a dozen Michelin-starred restaurants here, and chefs have something to draw inspiration from: great vegetables, lake fish, farm meat and milk, Alpine herbs, mushrooms, berries and, of course, centuries-old traditions of a good life. For an aperitif and a digestiv — alpine landscapes that will turn any meal into a royal feast.

We will organize unforgettable trips to the amazing Bavarian region, full of pleasant adventures, vivid impressions and delicious emotions!
