An elegant hotel in the heart of Reykjavik, opposite the building of the Althing, the Icelandic Parliament is a landmark in itself. The hotel building was built in the 1920s with the money of the famous wrestler, the champion of Old Icelandic wrestling Glim Johannes Josefsson, who then became its director.
