The island is small in size, so most of the villas here are facing the sea: the long pier that leads to the rooms makes for great Instagram photos.
There are six categories of villas at the resort, the most spacious is Extreme WOW with a round infinity pool, a glass floor in the living room, through which you can watch the underwater life in shallow water, two bathrooms and a Jacuzzi with panoramic ocean views.
Guests of all villas usually spend most of their time on their terraces, sometimes taking a dip in the sea. Each sundeck has comfortable sofas, and in some villas there are relaxation areas with a table, where in the evening you can gather in a large group under the stars and order dinner to your room.
There are three main restaurants at the resort: informal Kitchen, open all day: breakfast is served here in the morning, for lunch you can order pizza, curry and other simple and straightforward dishes, and in the evening you can dine all family, not forgetting to top your dinner with homemade ice cream.
The second is the elegant Fish, where you can try local fish and seafood in a very romantic setting. Evenings can also be spent at the Fire restaurant, where they serve excellent barbecue right on the beach.
Every Maldivian resort is sure to have a sunset bar, and W is no exception: here it is customary to admire the sunset in SIP, with a huge sofa under canopy-sail. During the day, you can chill in the pool bar - according to the brand’s tradition, it is called WET, like all poolside bars in all W hotels in the cityire.
At AWAY Spa, treatment rooms are located in tents over the water. Each tent comes with an outdoor chill-out area, under a sail-shaped canopy - a signature W design. Before or after the procedure, you can also take a relaxing bath overlooking the ocean. There is no need to be afraid of prying eyes: the tents are designed in such a way that, even if it seems that you are open to all winds, in fact, only the ocean and spa specialists are with you.
